Are you always waiting for the next best thing to come along?
Recently it was my birthday. I turned 28 on the 29th of February. Yes, I’m a leap baby! I have to wait another four years for my next birthday to come around. Technically I’m seven years old.
A friend gave me an awesome book as a present. It’s Not How Good You Are, It’s How Good You Want To Be by Paul Arden is a guide to making the most of yourself. In the book it talks about taking advantage of the opportunity in your hand, instead of always waiting for the “perfect” opportunity to come along.
This point got me thinking and so I decided to create a video about it.
Do you suffer from destination addiction?
What opportunities do you currently have that you’re ignoring because you’re hoping for something better to come along?
Remember, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
